Platform for Revitalization

With this election, the CBRM will have a new mayor, new district boundaries, and a new council — made up of old and new councillors alike. This time of change presents an opportunity for revitalization.

There remains no shortage of municipal issues effecting district 5 residents on a daily basis: roads, water issues, waste management, recreation, and property taxes, to name a few. On these and similar issues, I will be your advocate.

But the new mayor and council can begin to shift more of the emphasis away from day-to-day affairs, which municipal staff are rightly in charge of, and begin to focus more on a strategic vision and plan for our region’s long-term sustainability.
